Good Overview (12 MBytes) This movie shows how the crew does simultaneous escavation and backfill. The shovel on the right (in red) digs the hole at one end. A bull dozer moves the dirt 60 feet down to a yellow compacter that pushes the dirt into the other end of the trench and rolls its wheels all over the dirt to compact it down.

Pounder (3.6 MBytes) In this short video, you get to see how the shovel pounds the vertical supports down into the ground. This can really shake the house, especially the top of a multistory townhouse.
